Verão contra a Ciência 
Não bastasse os altos níveis de ozono darem cabo das experiências de microarrays, agora também o calor afecta os computadores ao serviço dos Biólogos:
Central (network) services are running at a below normal service level at the moment.
It is being entirely caused by the weather, the sun's radiation heating up the Comms room to the point where the air con units overload and fail.
Obviously, I will try and keep a service running but it may be erratic, depending, as I say, on ambient weather conditions.
As of now (08:10 Monday morning) the air con units are trying to cool the fabric of the room sufficiently to allow IT to turn on equipment again.
